Australian Green Development Forum
The Australian Green Development Forum (AGDF) is a balanced, non-profit coalition of members dedicated to accelerating the adoption of sustainable practices in the building and development industries. Members are drawn from the development industry, public authorities, educational institutions, and community groups, which is consistent with its ‘whole of society’ approach to addressing the imperative of sustainable development.

The AGDF promotes ‘sustainable urban communities across Australia’, and works in partnership with a wide range of organisations and associations to achieve this goal.

Partnerships - Endorsed by industry, environmental bodies, and community sectors that also have an interest in fostering sustainable development, the AGDF will provide a recognised and respected forum to connect innovators whose goal is to forge links between:

  • sustainable development practices and technologies
  • appropriate institutional frameworks
  • adoption and implementation by business, and
  • demand from consumers in the marketplace.

The Business Case - Effective sustainable development will be promoted by the AGDF as development that offers market-competitive products to consumers, as well as a return on investment to the building and development industries.

Best Practice - Leading-edge practices in environmental and resource management and corporate social responsibility will be promoted and supported.
